Pensaron que el sitio m\u00e1s adecuado para ello era la peque\u00f1a cima denominada Mendiola, donde hoy en d\u00eda se encuentra el campo santo. Y fue as\u00ed como empezaron a transportar piedras hasta all\u00ed en carros. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sin embargo, tal y como sucede con tantas otras cosas, result\u00f3 que no todos eran de la misma opini\u00f3n; las piedras transportadas durante el d\u00eda aparec\u00edan la siguiente ma\u00f1ana en el lugar donde hoy se ubica la iglesia. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los cristianos hac\u00edan lo mismo al d\u00eda siguiente: cargaban las piedras en los carros y las llevaban a Mendiola, pero por la noche alguien las transportaba al sitio de origen una y otra vez. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Con la intenci\u00f3n de aclarar aquella circunstancia, la se\u00f1ora de Zaindegi, la casa que se encuentra cerca del lugar, se puso a vigilar por las noches, y al final vio c\u00f3mo los gentiles tra\u00edan las piedras que los cristianos llevaban durante el d\u00eda. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Los gentiles se percataron de que estaban siendo vigilados y le lanzaron la siguiente maldici\u00f3n a la se\u00f1ora de Zaindegi:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aida zurie, aida gorrie,<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Zelatan dagon andra horri<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ataiok ezkerreko begie<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hoy en d\u00eda, la iglesia de San Mart\u00edn se ubica donde los gentiles quer\u00edan que se ubicara.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><b>Tenemos que emprender el recorrido, y empezaremos desde el camino que se encuentra al otro lado del r\u00edo Agauntza, acompa\u00f1ados por el sonido que emite el r\u00edo.
