As the municipality of Ataun extends between 180 and almost 1,000 meters of altitude, the high-mountain areas are combined with the rural landscape. We can find large forest areas, open grasses, canyons and rivers.<\/p>\n\n<p>Since it is a locality with little urbanized surface, Ataun offers the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful mosaic of natural and semi-natural landscapes like few inside Gipuzkoa.<\/p>\n\n<p>From some summits of Ataun, you can also see the summits of Aralar, such as Aizkorri or Beriain.
